Helen L. Martin will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2006 at Tioga Baptist Church with Dr. David Cranford officiating. Burial will be at Summerfield Tabernacle Cemetery, Colfax.

Mrs. Martin, 72, of Pineville, passed away Friday, March 10, 2006.

Helen was a devout Christian and touched a great deal of people's hearts. She had a great sense of humor and loved writing.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cyrus P. Robinson and her parents, Oscar Lasyone, Sr. and Lucy Lasyone.

Survivors include her sons, Mike Robinson and wife, Sherrie of Round Rock, Texas, Mark Robinson and wife, Lorri of Brandon, Florida, Ted Robinson and girlfriend, Cathy Cosby of Shreveport and Randy "Boo Boo" Martin and wife, Pam of Pineville; her brother, Clyde Lasyone; her life long close special friends Geri and Bill Autrey; her 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Thursday, March 16, 2006 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., and Friday at Tioga Baptist Church from 8:30 a.m. until time of services.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Summerfield Tabernacle Cemetery.
