EDGAR NORRIS, 73, DIES EARLY TODAY

Edgar Norris, 73, passed away at the Humboldt Hospital early this morning, following a lengthy illness. He had been brought home from a recent stay at the Veteran's Hospital in Lincoln last week, but taken to Humboldt Wednesday evening when his condition became worse.

Mr. Norris was a life-long resident of Table Rock, where he was in the grocery business with his father, the late C. I. Norris, for many years, then operating the business for several more years after his father's death. He was also a veteran of World War I and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 at the Methodist Church. The family suggests that donations be made to the Resuscitator Fund in lieu of floral contributions.

Besides his wife, Frances, he is survived by one son, Charles, of Sioux Falls, So. Dak., and two daughters, Mrs. Helen Siemsen of Hattiesburg, Miss. and Lois Norris of Lincoln. Two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Peters of Omaha and Mrs. Aline Bare of Lincoln, also survive.
