Daniel Collett son of Daniel and Mary Harries Collett Born in Jefferson County, VA Oct. 1 1795 In company with his father's family he came to Ohio in 1812 and settled on the farm July 1814. He was ever a firm believer in the Christian religion. A Deacon of the Jonah's Run Baptist Church from it's organization and died Sept. 20 1862 firmly trusting in that God whom he had so long lived to honor.
