Mrs. Zanzinger was born, raised and lived her entire life in Media. She was devoted to her home and was active with Nativity B.V.M Catholic Church.
Mrs. Zanzinger was a minority inspector of the Eastern election precinct.
She was the widow of Matthew Zanzinger, who died in 1976. They were married in 1939.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet A. Opdenaker of Loxahatchee, Fla., and Jean Spring of Glen Riddle; a son, James Zanzinger of Westfield, Mass.; a brother Harry Highfield of Camarillo, Calif.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her three sisters, Helen Harvey, Edythe Highfield, and Sara Mooney.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Navitity B.V.M. Church, Franklin and Monroe streets, Media. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Rigby Harting & Hagan Funeral Home, 15 E. Fourth St., Media.
Memorial contributions may be made in the form to a charity of the donor's choice or in the form of Mass cards.
