Cecil was a rural farmer near Udell for 40 years. He was retired and died from a heart attack in St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital.
He was the 3rd child of George and Ella Mae Ogden Morlan. On February 12, 1932 he married Martha Irene Wahl. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter, Kathy Sue; an infant brother, Max; and a sister, Erma Kilpatrick.
At the time of his death he was survived by: his wife, Irene; 3 daughters Jeraldine Dixon; Shirley Morris, Betty Powell, 9 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren, 3 Brothers; Lorance, Robert, and Roger; 5 Sisters; Pink Swimm, Lucille Duty, Reva Burgess, Carolyne Moore and Jean Spring.
