Burial followed in Holy Rosary Cemetery with military honors. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Capt. White, 63, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009.
He was a native of Tahlequah, Okla. and had been a resident of Neshoba County since 1991. He was serving as veteran coordinator for Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Capt. White served in the U.S. Marines during Vietnam and in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria White of Choctaw; daughters, Michelle Graham of Picayune, and Sherri Ferguson of Philadelphia; one granddaughter; one step-granddaughter; one step-grandson; sisters, Vivian Nesheim of Little Rock, Ark., Mary Lou Ballard of Muskogee, Okla., and Julia Adams of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and brothers, Douglas Colbert of Denver, Colo., and Otho Adams of Oklahoma City, Okla.
