Margaret was the daughter of Palmer and Faye Northcott Brecheen. She attended Olney School and graduated from Ada High School in 1947. She married Ray Ridley on Jan. 10, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2007. She worked for the Olney Post Office, opened Band Box Beauty Shop in Coalgate, and worked as a Clerk for the Coalgate Post Office for 29 years. She retired in October, 1992. She is survived by son, Gary Ridley of Coalgate, OK, daughters, Carol Denson of Olney, OK and Kay Battles and husband, David, of Olney, OK; grandchildren, Kenny Denson and wife Shonda, Kyle Denson and wife Rachel, Jim Battles and wife Melissa, Joe Battles, Lucas Ray Ridley and Lacy Edwards. Also five great grandchildren and one great great grandson; sister in laws, Zelma Dean Brecheen of Olney, OK and Zelda Ridley of Coalgate, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; twin sister, Marjorie Hefley Droke; brother in laws, Howard Hefley and Dan Droke and son in law, Hershel Denson. Services will be Friday, October 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Coalgate Church of Christ with interment at Moore Cemetery. Mr. Lloyd McElhaney will officiate. Casketbearers will be Howard Ables, Zane Brecheen, Dane Brecheen, Mike Hefley, Tim Hefley and Eddie Anglin. Honorary Casketbearers will be Don Burns, Nickey Beal, John Wayne Ward, Herman Bills, Victor Enrico, Delbert Inman, and E.A. Gossett.
