He married Moryne Frensley in 1943 in Duncan. He served in the 88th Division of the Signal corp of the US ARMY during WW II. He worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Philco Electronics and was a partner in Green's Nursery and owned Craythorne's Refinishing for many years. He was active in organizing the Duncan Boy's Club, active in the Boy Scouts and the Stephens Co. Audubon Society. He was a long time member of the First Baptist Church and still actively serving in the Home-Bound Department of the church, visiting the elderly at 92 years of age.
Survivors include his wife Moryne of the home, a daughter and son-in-law, her grandsons and their spouses, a great-grandson. Bearers were his nephews.
Services were in the First Baptist Church with Jerry Whitten
officiating and the Rev. Jody Hilliard assisting.
Burial was in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Don
Grantham Funeral Home in Duncan.
