Bonnie Borinsky - Pueblo Chieftain - March 17, 2004 - Bonnie Borinsky. Born in Hutchison, Kan., in 1924, she lost her courageous battle with cancer on March 16, 2004. Wife of the late Bob Borinsky. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, she will be forever in the memories of those who loved her most. Survived by her children, Terry (Terri Jean) Brice-Nash, Melanie (Jeff) Osterman, Cheri Zanotelli and Barbi Ianne (Tom Garcia); grandchildren, Clark Brice-Nash, Dale Brice-Nash, Alison Pineda, Paige Brand, Talia and Gio Zanotelli, Russell Ianne, Sage Elizabeth Garcia, numerous nieces, nephews, their families, great-grandchildren; her longtime friend, Lucille Rike; and dearest friend, Yvette Elgart. A successful businesswoman, who owned and operated The Brass Ring with her daughter Barbi, her artistic talent was apparent in every aspect of her life. Bonnie loved life, her family, her friends, her garden and her special pets. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the wonderful staff of Sangre de Cristo Hospice and Dr. Joel Ohlsen. Funeral service to be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2004, Imperial Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow immediately. There will be a luncheon reception at Imperial Reception Hall following interment. In lieu of flowers and food, Bonnie's wishes were for donations, in her memory, to go to Sangre de Cristo Hospice or the Pueblo Animal Shelter.
