A daughter of Frank A. and Pearl (Wixson) McElvie, she married Eldon J. Lyons on June 30, 1932 in Alexis, IL. He died Nov. 3, 1964 and she remarried to Frederick Parkinson on April 4, 1969. He died on Jan. 22, 1995. From the Peoria Journal Star, 28 January 1997.
