Mr. Charles Belton (Jeff) Davidson, age 83, of Vancleave, MS., passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2008.

Mr. Davidson was born on December 5, 1924, in Leake County. He served in the Navy during World War II. He retired from International Paper Company after 33 years. Mr. Davidson moved to Vancleave from Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 1980, and worked for NaCo and the Jackson County School System. He was an active member of the Vancleave United Methodist Church. His greatest joys were his family, fishing, woodworking and white oak basket weaving.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrl and Walter Grady Davidson and granddaughter, Terri Rushing Hoffman.

Survivors include the love of his life and wife of 64 years, Annie Mae Hillman Davidson; daughter Judieth Ann Mangham and husband Fender Tucker; daughter Sylvia Faith Davidson, son Charles Michael Davidson and wife Gail; son Walter David Davidson and wife Rhonda; daughter Cynthia Kaye Hogan and husband Bob; son Ricky Lee Davidson and wife Carol; daughter Alicia Beth Green and husband Randy; sisters Bobby Whittington Riordan and husband Bill, Jane McNair, Peggy Thaggard and husband Joe Mack; grandchildren Matthew, Ashley, Melanie, Donna, Amy, Charles Michael, Sarah, Haley, Lucas, Billy, Bobby, Robert Michael, Donald, Lee, Daniel and Jacob; great-grandchildren Jocco, Megan, Mallory, Madison, Leslie, Clayton, Gavin D., Brynn, Judy, Gavin, Kira, Kylan, Kalen, Konner and Breinton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 25, 2008, from 9 AM - 11 AM, with an 11 AM church service, all at the Vancleave United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Vancleave # Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the Vancleave United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 5141, Vancleave, MS., 39565.

The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
