Bobbie was born in St Paul, Minnesota to Bobbie Eugene and Rae Mona Brewington. He and his family moved in 1957 to Eyota, Minnesota from Danville, Illinois after the passing of his father.
He graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1971 and from Winona State University in 1975. He taught high school in the state of Wyoming, at Winona Cotter Elementary School in Winona and had been Athletic Director and Adult Education Coordinator in Wabasha. More recently, he worked for Sugar Loaf Ford in Winona and was employed by Kuehn Motors in Winona at the time of his death. He was married and later divorced.
Survivors include his mother Rae Mona Christianson, four brothers; Tom & Sam Brewington, and Joe & Michael Christianson, two sisters; Connie Kowalczyk and Deb Fix.
He was preceded in death by his father and step-father.
