BRIGHAM CITY – Audrey Jeppsen Bott, 92, passed away on October 4, 2009 at Pioneer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Brigham City, Utah on May 23, 1917, a daughter of Nels Peter Jeppsen, Jr., and Luella Nelson.
She married Melvin Bankhead Bott on September 30, 1937 in the Salt Lake Temple. Melvin passed away on April 22, 1992.
Audrey is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served as a teacher, leadership in the Relief Society and Young Women's organizations, and was an Ogden Temple worker. She and Melvin served missions in Texas and Georgia. Audrey was active in the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She loved flowers, reading, sewing, and genealogy.
Surviving are her sons: Wynn "J" Bott, College Park, MD; Eldon "J" Bott, Provo, UT; Allan "J" Bott, West Valley City, UT; and son-in-law, Glenn L. Muhlestein, Payson, UT; 22 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, daughter, Loree Bott Muhlestein, brothers: Lloyd and Wynn Jeppsen, and sister, Wanda Adams.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the Brigham City LDS 7th Ward, 531 N. 100 W., Brigham City, UT.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LDS Perpetual Education Fund.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
