GRANDVIEW, Mo. - Keith N. Pond, 74, Grandview, Mo., passed away October 6, 2009.

He was born April 17, 1935, in Tallula, the son of Stanley and Edna Pond. He graduated from both elementary and high school in Tallula. He was a retired Air Force veteran with honors after 20 years of service.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Pamela Pond.

He is survived by wife, Barbara Pond, of the home; sons & daughters-in-law, Brian & Theresa Pond, Peculiar, Mo., Craig & Dawn Pond, Greenwood, Mo., Bruce Pond, Kansas City, Mo.; brothers, Michael Pond, Mt. Airy, Md., Ronald Pond, Tallula, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

If you knew Keith and met him somewhere and he didn't make you laugh or put a smile on your face, it must have been a sad day.

Gravesite and inurnment services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park, Springfield, Ill. at 10:00 a.m. October 24, 2009.
