BOWLUS, Barbara Ann BECK - Barbara Ann Beck was born within four miles of Niagara Falls on March 19th, 1828 and died in Bentonville, Ark. Oct. 2nd, 1909, being eight-one years, six months and eleven days of age. She moved with her parents to Sandusky county, Ohio when six years of age. She was married to Henry Bowlus June 8th, 1843. To this union was born eleven children - five boys and six girls, five of which have preceded her in death. The husband, three son and three daughters and many grandchildren remain to mourn their loss. She was converted in childhood and joined the M.E. Church in 1839 at the age of eleven years, in which church she remained a faithful member till death, being a term of seventy years. She and her husband moved from Weatherford, Texas to Bentonville, Ark. last November and purchased a house and lot where she passed away. She died triumphant in the faith of God and has gone to her longed for Heavenly home. The funeral was conducted by her pastor at the M.E.
