Kenneth Meidenbauer was the youngest of Frank and Teresa Meidenbauer's 9 children. He was born in Buffalo, NY and baptized in St. Ann's Catholic Church there.
He joined the Navy and served on the USS Iowa during the Korean War.
In 1955, he married Marion B. Beiter at St. Ann's Church, and together they had 5 children. They lived in the Buffalo/N. Tonawanda area until the late 1960's, at which time they moved to the Baltimore/Annapolis area in Maryland.
Ken was an electrical engineer, an inventor, a loving husband and father, and a good friend.
He had a wonderful sense of humor, a good singing voice, and played both the organ and the accordion. His family has many happy memories of campfires in backyards and on vacations, the accordion providing accompaniment to polkas, ballads, and old favorites.
(The Veterans Cemetery recasts markers with the death of a spouse, putting both names on one marker.)
