WINCHESTER - Paula B. Porter, 62, of Clark County, wife of Jim Porter, passed away under the care of Hospice on Oct 3 at 2:59am at her home. She was born Feb 6, 1947, in Evansville, IN, to the late Paul Burris and Verlene H. Burris (Claude) Reed who survive in Winchester. She was a hairdresser, member of Winchester Church of Christ, and former owner of the Generation Gap Hair Salon. Other survivors include, son, Jimmy "The Barber" Porter of Lexington, mother-in-law, Wanda R. Porter of Lexington, two daughters and sons-in-law, Marty (Larry) Dixon of Lexington, Jennifer (Tim) Davis of Georgetown, Ky., brother, Nick Burris of FL, 6 grandchildren, Hayden Bush, Chase Dixon, Whit Dixon, Rachel Davis, Taylor Davis, and Reese Davis. Funeral services will be Wed at 11am at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home 289 S. Main St. Winchester. Visitation will be Tue from 5-8pm. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.
