Mr. Andrews died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, in Lawton.
Inurnment with Navy honors will be in Highland Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 8, 1914, in Lawton to Jo G. and Eula Lee Seay Andrews Sr. He grew up in Lawton and attended Washington School and was a graduate of Lawton High School. He attended Cameron College. He married Florence Crandall on Oct. 3, 1936. He worked in his father's plumbing and heating business. He moved many times in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado and Missouri. He worked at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, the Federal Office Building in Oklahoma City and the Dallas County Courthouse in Dallas, Texas. He retired in 1978, after working for J.C. Hester Company for 12 years. He served on a destroyer in the Pacific Ocean during World War II. He joined the First Baptist Church on Oct. 3, 1934. He served as a Sunday school teacher and substitute teacher for most of the places he lived. He served as a teacher at the First Baptist Church for several years. He was a member of the Friendly Fellow's Sunday School Class and the Plumber's and Pipefitter's Union Local no. 344.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Charles and Colleen Andrews, Mabank, Texas; five grandchildren: Michelia and Buck Moore, Spring, Texas; Debbie and Scott Rosenow, Chattanooga, Tenn.; Jason and Christine Andrews, Cuero, Texas; Duane Andrews, Enid and Mark Andrews, Mabank, Texas; 12 great-grandchildren: Shelby, Bailey, Riley, Ethan, Lily, Emily, David, Ben, Seth, Wyatt, Grace and Ty.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son and daughter-in-law: Ross and Glenda Andrews.
