Graveside services for Dorris Sheppard, 89, of Rockdale are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at Rockdale I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
The Rev. Calvin Springer will officiate.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.
Ms. Sheppard died Monday at College Station Medical Center.
She was born in Rockdale and lived there most of her life. She lived in Taylor for 20 years and Austin for five years. She was an operator for Southwestern Bell for 38 years until her retirement in 1981. She also worked as an operator at Camp Swift during World War II.
Survivors include a niece and three nephews.
