Ardmore, OK β .Services for Toni Hunt will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at Mary Niblack Road Baptist Church with Reverends Phil Tallman and Darrell Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Toni was born to the late Johnny and Marie Cathy Means on May 14, 1939, in Hot Springs, Ark. She went to be with her Lord early Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Hunt; and sister, Donna Weldon.
She and George Hunt were married July 11, 1958, in Healdton, Okla. They were married for 51 years. Toni was a dedicated LPN starting at Elmbrook Nursing Home in 1979 and continued her career at the Oklahoma Veterans Center where she retired.
She is survived by her husband, George; daughter, Shannon Dixon and husband Mike of Ardmore; grandson, Seth Allen Dixon of Denton, Texas; stepdaughter, Valorie Mellinger and husband Dana; her daughters, Melissa, Bobbie and Delayna; sister, Nancy Stallcup of Monahans, Texas; brother, Johnny Keith Means and wife Carol of Bethany; niece, Rayna Kennedye; nephew, Greg Stallcup; brother-in-law, Mack Weldon of Oklahoma City; and various other nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be James Miller, Seth Dixon, Ricky Vance, Wayne Vaughn, Jim Hill, Travis Harris and Bob Mitchell.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.
