DUDLEY — Graveside services
for Ronald Allen Hickerson Sr., 68,
will be held at 11 a.m. today at
Dudley Cemetery, with Dr. Bill
Weeks officiating.
A native of Davidson County,
Term., Mr. Hickerson had made
his home in Laurens County for 36
years. He was the son of the late
Ronald Benjamin and Margaret
Rippy Hickerson, was a Navy veteran
of World War n, was retired
from Carl Vinson VA Medical Center
and as a distributor for The
Courier Herald. He served on the
Dudley City Council, was the owner
of Ron's Nursery & Woodcraft,
and was a member of Dudley Baptist
Church. He died early Friday
morning at his home after an illness
of several months.
