Omer Clark Tackett was born to Reuben Bryant Tackett and Nancy Jane (Sims)Tackett. He married Bessie Lee Foster on 24 July 1917 in Sims, Montgomery, Arkansas. Together they had eight children: Owen Clark Tackett, Infant Tackett died at birth, Clifford Albert Tackett, Arthur James Tackett, Raymond Cleo Tackett, Lois Allene Tackett, Omer Lee Tackett and Joyce Lavonne Tackett.
Burial at Park Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery on 8 Nov. 1960. There is no headstone or grave marker. Buried on lawn C/ Lot 45/ south of #5 near shop between two hedges.

Note: According to information from Omer Clark Tackett and Bessie Lee Foster, Reuben Bryant Tackett was full blooded Indian and because he was treated so badly because of it, he made up his name after he became an adult. No one knows what his real name was or what Indian tribe he came from.
