Funeral services were held at Beulah Church Oct 18 at 11 a.m., for Thomas M. Leverett age 64 years. Rev. S. J. Minor, Jas. A. Dickson, L. A. Decker, J. H. Hill, and C. T. Leverett officiating, with Drinkard directing. He leaves to mourn his his going, his wife, Mrs. Catherine Daker Leverett, 5 children, C. T., Alpha, Elbert and Arnold Leverett all of Boaz. Mrs. Minnie Baker, also of Boaz. One brother, L. S. Leverett of Double Springs, Alabama; one sister, Alice Prance, Boaz. Mr. Leverett was converted at 18 years of age, was loyal to his church. Son acted as pallbearers; Honorary, Willie Snyder, Will Kilpatrick, H. H. Roebuck, J. A. Garrard, J. M. Propes, N. S. Gobles, Willie Gaskin, J. M. Holocomb, Audie Mullinax, G. W. Young, L. B. Word, Everett Copeland, W. J. Head and Simon Watts. Interment in church yard.
