Clem C. McWhorter, born May 24, 1910, in Gilmer, Tx. to Silas & Nancy McWhorter, died Aug. 25, 1996, in Oklahoma City, OK

Married Florence Stafford on Aug. 10, 1929. Florence proceded Clem in death on July 26, 1978. He was a member of Council Road Baptist and married Dessie Halbig May 18, 1979.

Clem was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, a sister, an infant daughter, Betty Colleen & an adult daughter, Anna Christine Frahm.

He is survived by 3 children, Shirley Steiner, Clem P.McWhorler & David Michael McWhorter & their spouses; 2 stepchildren; 8 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren & 4 step great-grandchildren.

Clem was an architectural inspector and an original member of Carpenters Union Local 329. He was a much-loved man.

Services will be held Tuesday, Aug 27 at 2 pm in the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel. Interment following at Bethany Cemetery.
