She was born in Barnwell on March 25, 1922, to the late Aiken Gunnells and Essie Still Gunnells.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and a homemaker who love to crochet and cook. She also loved flowers and gardening.
Mrs. Delk was a member of First Baptist Church of Denmark, SC.
She is survived by her daughter: Jennifer D. Batchler of Denmark; son: James E. Delk and wife Sandra of Hanahan; sisters: Mildred G. DeHay, and Esther G. Sandifer; brother: Arden Gunnells; and six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Clarice was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Delk, and her daughter, Harryette D. Crosby.
Interment was in Double Pond Baptist Church Cemetery, Denmark.
