George was raised in Missouri and came to Mustang, OK in 1894. He handled brick and stone for the first block building in Oklahoma City, which is thought to be the first County Courthouse. When he moved to Libby, MT, he was a school bus driver and drove the first motorized school bus in Libby. George traveled by horse and wagon and had to have a full meal with hot biscuits and gravy at every meal. Martha Jane was a small white headed person. She is related to the feuding Hatfields and to Senator Mark Hatfield of Oregon.
