Mrs. Faircloth was born in Sampson County on November 16, 1923, the daughter of William and Irene Bryant Draughon. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Siler City where she was active in Sunday School and the Missions Group. Mary was retired from Belk Yates as a sales associate. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Warren Faircloth, Sr.; her parents and eleven brothers and sisters.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Ann F. Fulton of Siler City; son, Warren Faircloth and wife, Margaret of Hillsborough, NC; sister, Ruth Draughon Tew of Dunn, NC; grandchildren, Jeff Fulton, Heather Fulton-Brame and Laura Faircloth; great-grandchildren, Jesse Fulton and Richie Brame.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 1:00 - 2: 00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 314 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC 27344. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tony Capehart and Rev. Jim Wall officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Faircloth Family Cemetery in Stedman, NC.
