Death claimed Mrs. Mary Maria Spaeth, beloved wife of John Spaeth, of Seven Mile, on Friday afternoon following a week's illness.
Mrs. Spaeth was the daughter of the late Alfred and Susan Stump, and was born on December 1, 1858.
Mrs Spaeth was united in marriage to John Spaeth on August 3, 1879, and six children were born of this union, two sons dying in infancy.
Surviving are the widower John Spaeth; one daughter Mrs. Rena Owen; three sons, Fred, David and Joseph Spaeth, and four grandchildren, Arthur, John, Daniel and Mary Catherine Spaeth.
Funeral services will be held at the home in Seven Mile on Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with the Rev. W. G. of the Port Union M. E. church officiating.
Interment will be made in Simenson chapel.
Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening.
