Margaret Montgomery was born on the 19th of November 1785, the 4th daughter of Charles C. and Margaret (Reynolds) Montgomery.
On August 27, 1807, Margaret married her cousin, Charles Bell, the son of William and Margaret Ann (Montgomery) Bell, II. They had six children, before Margaret dead at the young age of 34 years.
Margaret Montgomery Bell departed this life on the 1st day of November 1820. She is buried in the churchyard cemetery at Old Brick Church near the banks of Little River in Fairfield County, South Carolina.
