Mrs. Ingle was born June 6, 1914, in Buncombe County where she had lived for most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Nancy was the daughter of the late George and Lena Brooks Roberts and wife of the late Roy Columbus Ingle, who died in 1961. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Mary Lawton and Betty Banks.
Surviving are her daughters, Vernie Lunsford of Marshall, Ethel Peterson of Georgia and at Ingle of Norfolk, Va.; sons, Ronnie Ingle and Roy Ingle, both of Asheville, and George Ingle of Tobaccoville; sisters, Annie Omstead of Arkansas, Barbara Bradley and Minnie Rice, both of Weaverville; brothers, Joe Roberts and John Roberts, both of Weaverville; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
