Merty Ann Bare was born March 1, 1880; departed this life May 27, 1952; age 72 years, 2 months and 12 days. She was married to Hiram Bare, Oct. 17, 1902, and to this union were born 11 children - two preceded her in death. She leaves a husband and nine children — Mrs. Everett Bare, Edgewood, Md.; Lawson Bare, Newport News, Va.; Kilby Bare, North East, Md.; Wilson Bare, Idlewild; Mrs. Vernon Phillips, Oval; Walker Bare, of the home; Glenn Bare, Jefferson; Paul Bare and Burrell Bare, of Crumpler; 16 grandchildren, two sisters, and three brothers to mourn her passing. She joined the Primitive Baptist Church at Senter, in September, 1934, and lived a faithful member until death. She was a good companion and a loving mother, a good neighbor, and loved by all who knew her. Our loss is her eternal gain.
