Mrs. Lily C. Sparrow, 91, Lafayette State Soldiers Home, died at 10 P.M. Sunday in the home.
Mrs. Sparrow was born Aug. 12, 1883 in Noble Co. to Charles and Lavona (Demy) Price. She married Charles S. Sparrow Dec. 7, 1902. He died in 1939. A farmer Cromwell resident and member of Cromwell United Methodist Church, she moved to Lafayette, in 1943.
Surviving are a Neice, Mrs. Vern Schrock, Goshen,; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Warble and Mrs. Edna Emmit, New Paris; three brothers, Floyd Price, Goshen, Levi Price, Albion, and Roy Price, Kimmell.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Wednesday in Ulrey Funeral Home, Ligonier, with Reverend George Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Sparta Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 P.M. Tuesday.
