Mrs. Heber (Elma) Anderson, 97, of 150 E. County Road 500S, died Thursday at her home.
Born in Porter County August 27, 1883, she was a daughter of Joseph and Bertha Cannon. Her husband died in 1959.
Surviving are four daughters, Jessie Goodpaster and Elizabeth Rodger of Valparaiso; Marjorie Copenhaver of South Bend; and Mrs. Hilding Hagen of Wilmette, Ill.; two sons, James and Richard of Valparaiso; two sisters, Ethel Riley and Lucille Jarnecke of Kouts; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Presbyterian Church in Kouts, where Mrs. Anderson was a member; the Rev. Richard Selby officiating; burial in Adams Cemetery; visitation 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Kosanke Funeral Home, Kouts.
