Anita Myrtle (Brenckle) Aebischer Weston, 78, passedaway April 5, 2005, at Legacy House Assisted Living Center from complications due to kidney failure.

She was born April 12, 1926 in Bern, Switzerland, to Jules Brenckle and Emily Biedermann. When she was two years old her family immigrated to the United States and settled in Cache Valley. Her father died three years later. Her mother married Henry K. Aebischer, who was an awesome dad to the family. Myrtle loved him dearly.

She attended and graduated from Logan High School. While in her senior year she received her U.S. citizenship and was very proud of that. She married H. Roscoe Weston on May 24, 1946. They were married for 39 years.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings, including a mission to Hawaii in 1988.

Myrtle loved music and played the piano all her life. Mom used her gift to bless the lives of many. There was always music in her home and in her heart. She especially enjoyed playing with the Oldies but Goodies band, who brought much service and joy to people around the valley.

Mom had a knack for organization ---which, by the way, she DID NOT share with her daughters.

Myrtle loved life and this wonderful world our Heavenly Father created. She loved going for rides and she admired the beauty around her. Her home and gardens were always full of color. She wanted her surroundings to reflect Heaven, happiness, and peace.

She is survived by her five children, Scott (Carolyn) Weston of Rockland, Idaho, Susan (Steven) Saunders of Hyrum, Utah, Herb Weston of Logan, Utah, Janet (Ron) Nelson of Rockland, Idaho, and Anita (Steven) Jacobsen of River Heights, Utah. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother, Edith (Joe) Robins, Bernina (Jim) DeLoach, Annalor (Byron) Sorensen, and Louis (Carol) Aebischer. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, with her10th great-grandchild due in September.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, April 11, at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St., Logan. A viewing for friends and family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, and from 10 to 11:30 on Monday at the mortuary. Internment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Myrtle Weston Dialysis Fund with proceeds going to the Bridgerland Dialysis Center at Logan Regional Hospital for the purchase of desperately needed, comfortable chairs. Donations can be made at any Zions Bank branch. We, her family, would like to express our appreciation and thanks to the staff of the Dialysis Center, Dr. Steven Salisbury and staff, Legacy House, and Access Home Care & Hospice for their loving care of our mom.

Mom, our lives will never be the same without you. Through all your trials and heartaches you never lost your sense of humor and love of life. Your faith will eternally sustain us.

Du bist min, ich bin din,
Des solt du gewis sin.
Du bist beslozzen

Verlorn ist das Sluzzelin:
Du muost auch immer darinne sin.
