Graveside services for Camilla Bailey Williamson, of Bend, Oregon, formerly of Marshall, will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 10, 2009, at New Grover Cemetery.
Mrs. Williamson passed away Monday, September 14, 2009 in Bend, Oregon. She was born January 20, 1916 in Marshall, Texas, to Daniel Tucker and Eula Green Bailey.
She graduated from Marshall High School and attended Bethel College before marrying William Denny Williamson Jr., on August 6, 1937 in Marshall. They settled in Loudon, Tennessee, on the Williamson family farm until 1976 when they moved to Culver, Oregon, and then later to Bend, Oregon. They were members of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lenoir City, Tennessee and the Community Presbyterian Church in Redmond, Oregon.
Mrs. Williamson is survived by her two sons and spouses, William Tucker and Candace Williamson of Redmond, Oregon and Timothy Bailey and Lynn Williamson of Three Rivers, Texas; four grandchildren, Scott Daniel, Travis Dean, Camilla Susan and William Denny Williamson III; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Denny Williamson Jr., in November 1995; three brothers, D.T., Pettis and Joe Bailey; two sisters, Elizabeth Nichols and Irene Wilson.
