Patricia Ann Shelby, 68, passed away Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at home with her family by her side.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Patricia was born May 10, 1941, to Harvey and Ruth Wise Privett in Dallas. She grew up in Grand Prairie. She married Dalton Shelby in January 1960 and moved to Arlington where they raised their two children.
Patricia was a licensed beautician for 30 years and was a friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Survivors: Husband of 49 years, Dalton Shelby; daughter, Gayle Bratcher (Charlie); son, Glenn Shelby; brother, William Privett (Sharon); sister, Wanda Huffine (Dave); grandchildren, Ryann, Kim, Stephanie and James; great-granddaughter, Lore Lye; and five nephews.
