Rachel W. Reynolds, daughter of Thomas E. and Francis E. Reynolds, was born in Crawford County, Illinois, September 28, 1859 and departed this life July 13, 1919, aged 59 years, 9 months and 15 days.

She was married to Charles N. Stuck October 10, 1878. To this union was born one daughter, Mrs. Iva Wheeler of Hutsonville. Her husband Charles Stuck died September 27, 1882.

On May 10, 1893, she married to John W. Goss. To this union was born two children, Mrs. Dorcas Graham of Annapolis and Hobert E. of near home.

She was converted and baptized into the Mt. Olive Baptist church in December 1884 of which church she remained a faithful member until death.

A year ago her health began failing and on February 13, underwent an operation. After 5 months of intense suffering she departed this life leaving husband, three children, four grandchildren, three brothers, Cyrus W., Frank L. and Albert H. and three sisters Effie, Lizzie and Leuella and a host of relatives and friends.

Tuesday morning the remains were taken to her home church where funeral services were conducted by her former pastor George A. Tuson and was afterward laid to rest in the Plymouth cemetery.
