Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 30, 1997 at Greenwell Funeral Home with Rev. George Nika , and Rev. Michael Nave officiating. Burial will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visitations were held Sunday from 4-8 p.m.
She was born August 19, 1914 in Casey Township, Clark County Ill., the daughter of Chauncey and Lucinda (Hills) Pearce. She married Dorsey Henley on August 7, 1935.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Dick VanHorn of Findlay, Ohio; and Connie and Bill Neihart of Coal City, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Freda) Fasig of Martinsville and Mrs. Fenton (Billie) Kelley of Tiffin, Ohio; three grandchildren, Shelly VanHorn of Bowling Green and Douglas VanHorn of Alvada, Ohio and Scott Neihart of Marshall; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Atkins.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Martinsville Bible Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the Martinsville Bible Church or the American Cancer Society.
