Son of Daniel W. and Alice (Smith) Allen. On August 23, 1934, he was married to Corenne Bumgardner at Emporia and this family was blessed with one son, Larry. Survivors include his wife Corenne of the home; his son, Larry and his wife and the two grandsons; also three brothers, Rev. Marvin Allen of Emporia; Dale of Torrance, CA; and John of Norwalk, OH; also four sisters: Mrs. Edna Soper of Hoisington; Mrs. Edith Mackey and Mrs. Helen Davis, both of Hutchinson; and Mrs. Lloyd (Ona) Phillips of Russell; and several nieces and nephews. Clergy: Rev. Robert Vance Organist: Mrs. Cora Hollinger Soloist: Mr. Rudolph Parker Music: "Beyond the Sunset" and "In The Garden" .
