She married George W. Culler on April 3, 1873.

In the 1900 census Ellen was living in Shelbyville, Black Creek Township, Shelby County, Missouri. Ellen was listed as a widow age 60 born April 1839 in Missouri, her daughter, Lettie P. age 17 born April 1883 in Missouri was still at home. The census stated that Ellen was a mother of 9 children, but only 8 were still living.

In the 1910 census taken on the 19th of May, Ellen was living in White Sulphur Springs, Meagher County, Montana. She was listed as a lodger age 69 born in Missouri. She was living with a Mary E. Holliday age 62 born in Missouri. (NOTE--Mary maybe a sister)
