Charles D. Chafin, 83, born Feb. 6, 1926, died April 7, 2009.
After cremation, a memorial service is planned at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom, The memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, April 18. Pastor Ray Evers officiates the memorial service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise Whitworth Chafin on March 29, 1984.
Survivors are his daughters, Jeanette Weddle and husband, Mack, of Paris and Carletta Wheeler of Paris.
Also surviving are his grandson, Robin Weddle and wife, Tina, and children, Cody and Avery Grace.
