COVINGTON, ROY C. "SLIM" died Saturday, March 28, 1981, at his residence in Pride. He was 65, a native of Livingston Parish. He was a retired operator with Ethyl Corp. and a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.

Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 10 a.m. Monday. Religious services at noon Monday at the funeral home. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Covington, Pride; his mother, Mrs. Sarah Garrison Covington, Baton Rouge; two sons, William T. and Marion R. Covington, both of Denham Springs; and eight grandchildren.
