"Edward Crabtree had one child by his first wife Ann - William E. Crabtree born in 1804 in Jefferson County. He married his second wife Atramesa Ditte in Jefferson County, OH in 1813. Their first child Elijah was born in Jackson County, OH. They also had another son, Edward E. born in 1824 and a daughter Nancy (who married Ned Dixon). Edward was a township judge, a farmer and a religious man and he owned considerable land in Scioto Twp. He and Atramesa are buried on the farm he once owned. The plot is known as Crabtree Cemetery #1 in the Jackson County Cemetery Book."
