Chris W. Thornton, 43, Bloomington, passed away at 6:40 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 8, 2009) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.
He was born in Orlando, Fl. to Richard and Joan Johnson Thornton. He married Katie Blackmore on Dec. 23, 1991, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his three children, Dane, Dallas and Sydney, all at home; his father and mother-in-law, Lowell and Joan Blackmore, El Paso and one aunt, Judy Vance, Normal.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
