Mr. Billie Boyd Allen, 82, Marshfield, passed away at 9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 25, 2008 in his home after a long illness. A retired carpenter, Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Crystal (Nunn) Allen; his wife, Inez Allen; a sister, Helen Nichols; and a brother, Carlos Allen. Survivors include two sons, Ron Allen, Marshfield, and Jack Allen, Conway; two daughters Chrystal Schroeder and Judy Saunders, both of Marshfield; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Interment will follow in the Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
