Keith Christian Blair, 25, of Jerome, Pa., originally from Newport, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2005 in Jerome.
He was born April 3, 1980 in Camp Hill to Tom and Ruth Trout Blair. He was baptized at St. Bernard Catholic Church, New Bloomfield.
He attended Newport Elementary and graduated from Newport High School, received a B.S. in music appreciation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a master's degree in trombone performance from Ohio University, and received a full scholarship for doctoral work at Michigan State University.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife of nearly two years, Elizabeth Hillegass Blair; sisters, Christine Klinger, Katie Thomas and Stephanie Jones; and brothers, Tom, Mark, Andrew, Matthew and Jason Blair.
Services were held Oct. 31 at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial was in Newport.
