Son of: Jospeh & Margaret (McClellan) Davidson.

Husband of: Charlotte (Dibble) Davidson, married February 20, 1866, in Carroll County, Indiana.

David T. DAVIDSON, 1835-1904
He was born in Georgetown KY, and came to Xenia as a youth with his parents. His father Joseph was a baker with a shop on East Main St, and David also followed that profession. David served two years in the Civil War, enlisting in the 94th Ohio Volunteer Infantry; he was captured at Nolensville TN in 1862, paroled, and was discharged in 1864 as a Captain. In 1866, he married Charlotte Dibble of Indiana, and served for a time on city council. In 1871 he was elected Chief of the Xenia Fire Department, and served for almost thirty years in that position; when he left office, he was probably the oldest fire chief in the US, according to his obituary.
