Dies Friday morning

Funeral Services for Resident of Clark Twp. Sunday Afternoon

William Edward Dougherty 74, died Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of a sister-in-law Mrs. George Caldwell, in Needham following a serious illness of more than six weeks from heart trouble. Mr. Dougherty had been practically helpless for the past four years.

Funernal services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Rocklane Christian church. The srvices will be in charge of Rev. A.F. Murphy of Second Mt. Pleasant and the Rev. E.S. Farmer. Rocklane pastor. Burial will be in the Racklane cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dougherty home in Clark township at any hour before the funernal. Mr. Dougherty was taken seriously ill at his sister-in-law home and was unable to be taken to his home.

Four sons, Ivan, Ira, Ezra and Clarence, all of Clark township, and two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Smith of Needham and Mrs. William Beckley of Acton, survive. A step son John Daugherty, of Indianapolis, eighteen grandchildren and one great grand child also survive.
