Mr. Jacobs was born on September 23, 1945 in Burlington, IA, the son of the late Everett Jacobs and Mabel Dougherty Jacobs.
He is a USMC Veteran of Vietnam and was employed by Golden Strip Transfer as a Truck Driver and retired from the Charleston Naval Ship Yard as a Pipefitter in Shop #99.
Mr. Jacobs was a member of the Moose Lodge; a former Cub Scout Master for Pack 435 and was a volunteer with Goose Creek Parks and Recreation.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Bounds Jacobs; two sons, David Pascal Jacobs and Mark Everett Jacobs both of Goose Creek; two brothers, Martin Jacobs of New London, IA and Robert Jacobs of Norman, OK; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Watson and Brenda Bounds both of Summerville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, St. Stephens.
