SOPHIE K. DICKMEYER
Mrs. Sophie K. (Plugge) Dickmeyer was born on May 28, 1890, at Arlington, Nebraska and was baptized on June 22, 1890 and confirmed on March 27, 1904 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony with Henry Dickmeyer on February 24, 1909 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Since that time, they lived in the Arlington vicinity. Mr. Dickmeyer died on August 11, 1953.
She is survived by a son, Alfred; daughters, Mrs. Oscar (Esther) Scheer and Mrs. Wilbur (Irma) Grefe, all of Arlington; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Alice) Hansen; brothers Henry and Arthur Plugge, all of Fremont; Lawrence Plugge of Lafayette, Oregon; eleven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Plugge and brothers, Fred and August Plugge.
